I thin caves is my least favourite phantasy star online levels.
Theres 3 of them, there not much fun, they're hard, and they don't look that good....
Im level 85 and i get knocked down by Vulmers, so i think ill wait till im a better level.

to get mine i did the graves butler quest. It comes with a free meat shield

I have Delsaber's Shield but just not the Buster. That's one of the items I'm hunting at the moment, it will help me with the Mines.
I'm new here at this forum but not at PSO. IT's just that I don't play online, but um, can anyone give me some advice on beating ULT Mines and Ruins?
Trick to mines is not being a hunter...
I don't know about anyone else but i had real trouble.
If you are a hunter, try to equip a sword type weapon and hit them as many times as possible before you fall over. You will probably not be able to make the machines fall over as easy as a ranger or force.
I think if you can just keep hitting them and healing yourself you will eventually hammer through.
just persevere, keep on telepiping as you go so that you don't have to run back so far if you die. and keep going. Killing the boss is pretty easy compared to the rest.
Use slicers...
They are the best ranged weapon that a huter can use in a sticky situation...
But remember that they do force you closer to the enemy, but it is fun to see a whole lot o gils to fall down...
Slicers are indeed good for Mines. the multi-hit comes in very handy.
However, also useful are Mechgun types. The fact that you can switch targets mid-attack is extremely useful.
i usually play with rangers only. they are the superior class next
to forces.
