today i joined a game called Pdrop trade, obviously standin for photon drop..
i joined the game and then the guy showed me what stuff he was trading, saw Chain Sawd, Twin Brand and Stag Cutlery. Then i asked for the Chain Sawd and the Stag Cutlery. I asked how much and he said 5 photon drops each, (bearing in mind this was on EU/Dubhe). I was really surprised and i think that was a pretty good deal. What is up with these people? He seemed as legit as can be....why does he want soooo many photon drops and why such low prices?

The only thing I know about Photon Drops is that they can be sold for 1000 Meseta each. He's basically asking for 5000 Meseta for those weapons... but you're right, that does seem kind of low for high-leveled weapons like those...
Maybe he just wanted to get rid of them.
Well online players can exchange photon drops for powerful items I believe, such as the replica Nei's Claw. Although, I have to say that I won't be the one to answer such a curious question.
If you were online you can trade pd's (Photon Drops) in an online Quest, its Called Gallons Shop.
If you get a Srank Weapon you can give them Special in trade for PDs or you can put % on your weapons for pds. Or just trade them for some items, you can only get in this Online quest/shop. Just look here for the items you can get in this "shop".

You can buy add slots, weapons, magic water, photon booster, blue black stone and a lot more things at Gallon's Shop for Pd's. This is online only, offline the Pd's are practically worthless. I guess he wanted to buy something, those are decent rares but why would you want to keep them if you have one far better... he decided to trade, some decide to throw them away.

Chainsawd is a common rare for Skyly it can be found from Vulmers pretty easily, 1/900. That is easy when you think you'll be doing many runs just to gain experience. If he has 1 with hit or other good percentages and one without percentages... why not give it away since you can only use one sword at a time. It would be a waste to sell since people online would pay Pd's for it and you can do things with Pd's and you can hardly do anything with 10 meseta.

The Stag I can understand but why the hell would anyone want to trade a Chainsawd for five lousy PDs?
Also, where in Dubhe was this and when? I do happen to utilise block 5 of that ship to meet my friends every evening so if this is coincidental timing I might pop over and have words with your trader...
Most people seem legit but beneath that law-abiding exterior is a very probable Sneaky Git who wants to offer you dupes.
And if the guy wanted PDs and was a serious legit, maybe he wanted a Blue-Black Stone or something.
