I'm a 32 year old man with two kids. A few years back I picked up one of my kids Gameboy Colour Handhelds on a long train journey while they were busy with some colouring in and puzzle books. I thoroughly enjoy Pokemon Advance/Gamecube games. I even bought Pokemon Channel so I could get hold of Jirachi (although the game gathered dust ever since I unlocked him unless my daughter gets the disk out for a spin).
I have a theory in life; you only have x years to live so enjoy yourself.

Yeah the games are the core part of pokemon and they still seem to be doing well. If there was a proper 3d rpg on the same scale as the gameboy games i wud definatly buy it.
actually you will fined digimon is for a more mature audience if you actually follow the plots and charcterand story develpoment and i am a 17 year old didgmon fan who plays the pokemon games because they are good but the anime is bellow avarage in my opinion.
i was a big pokamaniac when the hype was at its max i was around 10 but now im 15 and its still going and i find that nintendo have drawn the series out way to much i mean pokemon channel wtf was that lets legends die

The games are great, but what i think would be greater is that they bring a game out ; lets say for cube, and its a RPG. I know that colloseum(thats wrong)is but. this time u have complete control over your pokemon. like u can tell it to move when getting attacked. The battle system im thinking about would be similar to Grandia 2 if an1 has played it! Maybe im getting ahead of myself. This is getting a long post :O i better stop.
I thought that would be a great idea i just never told anyone, but my idea was like a battle in realtime, so you could move the pokemon, then assign the attacks to abxy and have like a dodge and jump etc to the shoulder buttons
It would be a cool way to bring in a different style of play to the games. Having stratedgy elements like that in breath of fire 4 would be cool, if they made it work better though

I agree, a change in the gameplay would be nice. But I feel tht it's the games that keep the franchise going. I'm now 17 and I got Ruby for my birthday, from what i've played, it's not that bad of a game, it's actually very original in some aspects but plain in others.
I'm 18... male... Yeah I still play! Yeah I enjoy it! Wanna fight about it? You can either ruin your life by 1) Not living enough; being a square... 2) Living too much; drinking, doing drugs, other illegal or immoral things etc... 3) Playing/watchin pokemon or other "childish" videogames/anime and not "properly conforming" to what is considered socially acceptable...
I choose #3...

Also something that can make this series go from good to great is to make it online. You could travel to many areas online and battle other trainers, do quests (or battles) with other trainers 2v2 battles or realtime combat (only a dream, but a good dream). The possibilitys could be endless if they did that. But since Super Smash Brothers, Mario kart, starfox, mario party could also be super sucesses too and destroy the PS2's online and wipe out X-box live, But if they haven't done that by now I don't think they ever will. Truly a sad thing.
