whats your favorite blade weapon type for hunters?
Mine is double sabers.

Probably Slicers, getting more and more respect for those things.

Yeah Had the game for over 2 years (offline only unfortunatly).
And just recently started using Slicers with my new Skyly Hunewearl, (Used to have an Oran Hune and Redria Fomar.).

Very underrated, I used to dispise the slicers but now really starting to respect em. Really useful, more useful than I expected.

But I prefer Daggers... and claws.

yeah i dont get to play online anymore either..i miss it. that is kinda interesting that you find slicers to be pretty effective. ive never really liked them that much. when enemies get in close it really stinks. your pretty much defenseless when they get too close. i do tend to use them once in a while though.

I said Swords, but I like them all very much. Speaking of swords and the Chain Sawd, since I haven't found one yet and probably won't have time to look again until the weekend, does the Chain Sawd have a different style of swing than the normal sword?

EDIT: Although my brother did find a Rappy Wing = Rappy's Fan a little while ago, which I really like, so Slicer's can be good.

No the swing is no different. I do like swords as well. the only thing i dont like about them is the slow swing. I equip something that makes your attack speed really good. It counteracts the speed of the sword.

I like the slicers for the specials it can cause mass havoc if the effect hits.

I used a rappy fan even in V-hard to mass confuse crowds. I usually switch to a melee weapon if gets too close. But with the Hune I like the Slicers, I used to hate em with a passion, but recently I started using em and I'm not regretting it. Watch that slicer bounce heh, can hit the entire crowd with em.

But it's mostly for the special, instead of hitting just one get the special on a bunch without getting too close.

I prefer daggers as melee though, will start using Swords though if I ever find the Chain Sawd or red sword. (Got a bunch of Flowen's, Las Survivors and even have a Dragon Slayer but Swords aren't my thing.

I know ATP is good, but shrug I don't play for the raw power I like to see what I can pull off with whatever weapons catch my fancy.

I love double sabers my double cannon just hits SO many times.

I rank in the following order:
Dagger
Partisan
Twin Sword
Double Saber
Saber
Sword
Slicer

Swords and are too slow and I hate how slicers make you move forward when attacking.

I've always loved to use partisans, for the fact that they only have a bit less ATP than a sword, but still combo far faster. I'm also a massive fan of slicers, the only thing I don't like about them is that they have a low ATP.
