Hello is there any way to defend against getting corrupted, and also how likely is it to happen thx.

There is no way to prevent it completely, but if you can reduce the chances of corruption online by knowing where to go and what people to play with. there are cirtain places that you are probably more likely to get corrupted than other places.

Do you know any of these places and can you only get corrupted online?

Theres more chance of getting corrupted online because of all the hacking etc that goes on. Theres a chance you could get corrupted offline, but just dont take out the memory card while saving or loading or anything stupid like that and you'll be fine. I beleive a lot of people from the forums play on Alphard 6 so you should try there if youre online.

Cool I heard if you also have an official memory card for the GC (which I do), you are less likely to get corrupted is this true?

Well i have an official memory card and a third party memory card, and ive never corrupted with any of them on pso, but i have been corrupted with unofficial memory cards on other games before but never an official one, so i suppose you are less likely to get corrupted with an official memory card.

Don't go to Vega. Stick to offical cards if you can. I had a very crap memory card that corrupted in the 2nd slot which wasn't being used.
