Hey is there an area or enemy that is more likely to give you mags?
yeah go to the mines on normal and u should get some out of boxes
Yep Mines is the best..the only place I've ever found MAGs I think.

The endboss boxes give items of the next area, that's why you find higher tech disks at the boss and other weapons than you found in the area you played. If you've finished the Forest you'll get boxes from the dragon containing items from Caves 1.
Yes, mines is where you get 99% of all your "maggage", hunt there for a while and check all the blue boxes you find.
why you wanted to know where you can find new mags? Easiest way is to create a new Char a use his mag and transfer them to an other chars and redo this untill you got enough mew mags... It would be much easier...
