I was reading an article on the rigister about 'project revolution' or 'N5' and i found this article suggesting that microsoft and nintendo may be working on the console together to beat sony.

There does seem to be some evidence that this could happen for exmaple the same hardware manufactures are making components for both consoles. The processor in the gc2 and xbox2 will be IBM made and both will use ati graphics. I dont think that this will happen personally due to nintendos previous experience in working along side other companies. Most people know about song orginally producing the playstation cd add-on for the snes and nintendo were working on a gba smartphone until they tried to nokia to make it then the ngage came out.

A join console would surely defeat the ps3 hands down though. The great online service that microsoft provides along with powerful hardware and the orginality and efficient hardware that nintendo makes. If the is a 'N5box2' or whatever it would be called i want it!

If it is to happen, there will be like a bazillion online ninty games, the likes of f-zero and mario kart

But i do not like the idea because the console will be really expensive which isn't nintendo :ermm:

i h8 microsoft they stole rare but i hate rare even more for turning their backs on nintendo and selling out :alien:

I dont think paying millions for a company that hasnt even released a game on your console is stealing its just sumthing only microsoft could afford to do :O

Nintendo is far too stubborn... It will never happen... With Nintendo being so stuck in their beliefs that online gaming is not something people want, and Microsoft boasting online as its primary selling point, they simply will not be able to come to any kind of agreement like this... Unless of course Microsoft just flat out BUYS Nintendo... Which I still don't believe Nintendo executives would never standby... (especially Miyamoto-san)

I am really hoping that nintendo get a game that smashes the sales of san andreas, but it won't happen i know it. If a game is to do it, i think it would be Resi 4 or the new zelda, prime 2 won't i don't think
