I know that grinders make it +1 to an item or more depending on the type of grinder, it's previous number, and it's max grinder number however what exactly does this number do for the weapon?
It raises the ATP of your weapon, each grinder gives 2 extra ATP to your weapon. A Yamato +60 has 120 ATP more than an ungrinded Yamato.
Are there any weapons that have a different atp boostage or is it always +2atp

:O
Always + 2.
Yes, always +2. Yamato is one a the few weapons that can be ground above 50.

Theres not that few counting S-ranks and all...
I think the highest non s-rank is red saber, it has +78
i have heard that u can break th max grindage level say u have a saber and grind it to its max which is thirty. ok

BUT if it was at saber+29 and u add a trigrinder then it becoomes +32 pretty niffty

No. The time I tried it anyway, it didn't work. I had a Varista+23 I believe, and I used a Trigrider and it went only to +25..its max.
I wish I could do that. But I save grinders for really good rares anyways. I had like 3 before I corrupted... Best place to get grinders, by the way, is the Caves. Look for Materials in the Ruins.
