I am considering getting one of those new mini ps2's. I currently have a series 3 ps2 (ones just before quite fan and infa red but after the problems with disks that series 1 had) do you think it is worth while upgrading?
nah, its not worth it. its the same machine but has a network adapter built in.

I vote yes because even though i have the game on PC it would be damd easier to play it on the PS2

Don't fall victim to Sony's marketing scam like so many others have. The slim line is a more efficient model of the PS2 and sure it's neat to look at, but if you have a fully functional one already then there is no reason to pay extra money for another. Just stick with what you have and use the extra money on games or something else that would actually provide more entertainment than just being smaller.
