im not sure if thats the way its spelled but exactly how do u play "cricket". is it like baseball or Football (not soccer). and also rugby (im not sure if ispelledf that correctly either) these are all defferent and weird (to me) and defferently weird.
Cricket. You play on a large circular field usually. In the centre you have a narrow strip of grass. At the ends of the long strip of grass you have a set of stumps. (These are three pieces of wood in the groud about knee high with a little piece of wood across the top). One person runs to one set of stumps and throws the ball at the other set of stumps at the other end of the narrow strip of grass. The player at the other end, has a bat and has to hit the ball as hard as he could. If he hits the ball and someone catches it before it bounces on the ground, the batter is out. If not, the bats man and his team mate (didn't throw the ball) run towards each other's stumps. This is a run. If however, the ball hits the stumps (you can always tell when it does), then the batsman is out. And a team mate comes to take his place.

In some ways cricket is kinda similar to baseball, youve got a bowler thats kind of like a pitcher, feilders that are like the outfield and a batter. Cricket however doesnt have bases, but they do have someone that plays a kind of shortstop role, And instead of home runs you get 6's. If you actually watch a game of cricket however, its not really played like baseball and its not as exciting to watch.
Cricket is pretty boring to watch, except for the 20 overs a side game (called Twenty20) and to a lesser extent the 1-day games. The Test Matches are just too boring to watch.
I much prefer to watch baseball, and on that note, what the hell was up with the cards in the world series?!?! They were great all season and the they just sucked against the red sox.

Im glad the red sox have finally won another world series, but the games just werent very exciting because the cardinals played crap.
