Why melee? ...well, why give a Hunter a handgun?

Sometimes, you just gotta melee. And a partisan comes in handy in the Ruins especially.

A handgun makes life a bit easier with Dark Falz for sure with your Hunter. You've got a point for sure, even though I've never made it a habit to melee my Rangers.

Depends on play style I guess.

Coincidentally, I just beat VHard Falz with my Lv. 63 HUmar... used a Bravace +5 for most of it.

I tend to melee a lot with my Ranger... of course half of that is because he (as well as above mentioned HUmar) has a Delsaber combo which makes for rather easy kills. His other two melee weapons are the Soul Eater and a Diska of Braveman. Perhaps some say I carry too many weapons (he also has 3 guns; 6 is the max I'll ever carry)... I just like my variety. The action is repetitive enough without restricting yourself to only two or three weapons.

But indeed... different styles of playing.

and where does charge weapons come into play for that?

Er, it doesn't really. I just left the Vjaya with my HUmar because it was more powerful than the Soul Eater. Now that I know how much it uses, I'm not likely to use the special much though. *shrug*

lol you're cheaper then most people, then again it really doesnt increase the dmg that much IMO

Nah, not cheap... it's just that if I used this special too often I wouldn't have much money anymore... I'm still not "uber rich" yet. And the thing is, I forget these kinds of things... in battle it's just, "hm, how 'bout a special attack..." without much of a thought.

lol o i c no thought but kill in battle right? well all my chars are mostly maxed on meseta so i would just use the extra meseta they have on them before they die and loose it anyways(i usually have like 100,000+ meseta just sitting there collecting dust lol)

Yep... it's just, I don't have a level 200 character yet or anything (or anywhere close). I think each character may have around half a million sitting in the check room... but if I kept using the Vjaya special that'd be gone pretty quickly. That's what I meant.

I will never be able to use my 40% hit vjaya... I deleted my HUnter
