I absolutely love this game. It has an interesting story line, hilarious dialogue and characters, a cool battle system (I guess it could use a LITTLE work) and some of the funniest items/uses of items I have ever seen (The Eraser Eraser). Who else loves this rare, SNES classic?
I love earthbound, its one of the weirdest most fun games ive ever played. Id love to see an earthbound game on the GC
Only bad thing about earthbound is that some of the backgrounds in the battles make my eyes go funny lol
I never played it and if Ness from Super Smash Bros. is in it then i dont think i ever do, i hate thatl little bastar*

its an old RPG off of SNES i think, it was about a genius kid escaping these goons and stuff... not very cool

Hey! It is cool! Its one of the most original games ever made, any rpg fan should play earthbound.

First of all, Ness is not a genius kid, he's just a kid who obtains an item that gives him the potential of being super strong. PLus he has mental powers.
The story starts when a meteorite hits a hill next to Ness' house and a bee comes from the future out of it and tells Ness he is chosen. Then you go around collecting sounds from different parts of the world and these sounds eventually get you all super strong. It's definately the most original game I have ever played, and not to worry, Gotien, Ness doesn't hop around with his gay little kiddy voice. He's actually 16 and he doesn't speak in the game.
Sure the backgrounds in battles look like the guy who made them was on crack, but its uch an awesome game. Just play it, Gotien, and you'll love it. That is, if you can find a copy that's not really expensive. It's such a rare game, its even hard to find a cheap copy on Ebay.
