Wow, you never thought of transfering stronger items from one character to another? I've been doing that since I made a second character.
I find a useful way of gettin rares is quickly killing a monster with out getting taking any damage, i've gotten 8 musashis in hard mode by killing the dragon before he even flys off the ground.
You won't be able to do that in ultimate unless you know the tricks.
Yep Gynn's right. The bosses are much harder in Ultimate, as well.
I twink my brother's character with my MAG. It works, it'll being him up lots of levels quick, instead of having to level up "normally" and find regular rares like DB's Sabers by the sack-ful. lol
i would say piping thaats been established as the best technique
Well piping, I think, is really only good for finding items dropped by rare enemies.
piping hasn't brought me much success in finding Poully Slimes :'(
I hate Pofuilly Slimes so much that I've barely even tried to find a Pouilly for a Demo Comet. *sigh*
because the max amount of them you could ever find would be like 3 or them.... even if they split that takes way too much time... annoying, just annoying
