Hm, I make a habit of storing all the grinders I have until I find rares (or can equip those given by my other characters). My highest-grinded rare is a Varista +16... first rare I could ever equip. Used it for the longest time... before getting the Wals-MK2 from someone else and giving the Varista to my FOnewm. Anyway... sometimes I count how many grinders I have stored... usually around 25-35, at least on my top characters. But yeah, who could ever get sick of grinders? I know I can't be the only one who goes "ooh!" and grabs 5000 meseta if needed whenever one appears at the tool shop...
...theoretically you could "pipe for grinders" this way... I wonder if anyone does that...?

LOL! I certainly won't ever and don't pipe for grinders. On top of that, I've probably bought 2 monogrinders from the Tool Shop in all before. That was before I realized 5000 Meseta is waaayyy too much.
The Ruins mission in which you have to find a lost person on Ragol gave me a several Trigrinders and Digrinder and some Monogrinders. My soon-to-be-obtained Soul Eater is going to be amazing. I had to do it three times on Hard mode, it is hard...
I spend 100,000 on random on Mag accoutrements, amors, and other things when I go through a full sitting of 5 hours. My bank is beginning to overflow with grinders. Too bad my (soon-to-be) Eater can take only 9 grinds.
You can always conserve a bit of space by not using new Di/Trigrinders until you pipe back... then you deposit them and take out monos instead. Saves check room space.
About the "piping for grinders" thing, no I didn't really mean that. But Double Edge: why not buy them? It's not like by that time you're in dire need of money.
I have no more special weapons i want to grind tho (me want red saber to get rid of them)
