Wow. The first thing that I did when I got to hard is sheck out what rares I was interested in.

I was even happier when I finnaly got enough ATA to use my M&A60Vise, and found that it pwned the normal mode and the first half of hard

That's basically what I did way back when I was like "WTF there's a hard mode? I thought I finished the game."
I just went back to slaughtering, and when I got to hard ruins and wondered how i could get more weapons like my Vise I found out what weapons I wanted
