ok I got a few amplifiers , some photon drops and now Im curious on how do I combine them to make shields and stuff. I go to Gallons shop (quest ep 2) but he doenst offer me the oppotunity to make stuff. all he want is me to buy crappy cds or play games. Im a level 66 Hucast and all offline quests were completed once (normal)

in his quest there is the guy from Heatsaber. soul spinner and so on... talk to him and he will bring you to his father "paganini" he will exchange pds for other items.
(Go down to the telepipe area and turn left he will stand in the corner to your left under the Healing center)
what amplifiers you have? star or what?
I think hes talking about Amp. of Barta, Foie, Zonde e.t.c...with these you need to either find or buy (with PDs) the corresponding Barrier (Barta >> Blue Barrier, Foie >> Red Barrier, Zonde >> Yellow Barrier e.t.c) and equip the barrier, then use it. This allows creation of a merge, which is extremely good for Forces.
thats correct I got the amp of Foie resta and barta and yes Id like to get some barriers in order to make some merges for my force . I cant get online right now but after ill try what cHillar said .
Support Merges give extra range, Color Merges give 20% boost and specific tech Merges give 30% boost.
I've got Resta, Anti, Shifta, Deband, Red and Yellow merge.
I've whipped up zonde and resta merges, but when you play solo, the resta merge doesn't do a whole lot for ya.
Resta, Anti, Shifta and Deband are useless in solo but can be handy in quests.
I had several amplifiers, although I'm not exactly sure if they're still in my bank or not. I know my brother has a couple color barriers, I may try to get 'em off of him. ^_^
oh! duh... stupid me... lol yea i have like a collection of all of those from foie to red and so on you need a shield to attach them to
