Ok I traded a MAHU for a level 200 Sato 5 def 150 pow 45 dex 0 mind and Is it possible that its hacked? I did the mines and ruins on Vhard and not one SPecial Weapon was found. Can hacked weapons be the cause also? man how do I get involved with these cheats . :|
It is quite suspiciousing, not that your not finding rares, but the fact you only traded a Mahu for a level 200 Sato,

this is my opinion but if the stats r more than 200 i belived it was hackedbecause i have sato where the mind is 200 and that cant happen since mags start off with 5 def but nothing never happsn to me when i use. in fact i find alot of rares unless its just luck.
Doubt its a hack very much! loadsa people with rare mags (like sato) have given there mags exact stats as that is what rare mags require to be made
(rare mag stats can vary slightly but not much).
HOWEVER i dont think its legit, i think it has been duped. There should be nothing wrong with it, but if you wanna be legit (yeah you do
) then chuck it. It was far too good a deal to be a legit mag! but if they wanted to hack a mag they would have made a 1304 mag.

its not a hack, but it sure is a dupe...
could dupes be blamed for the lack of Special weaps. what exactly causes the lack of SPECIAL WEAPONS to appear? does having hacked weaps or items in the bank affect it too? Im building up my VAHARA (66) right now but playing with it and my Musashi +40

There is much controversy over weather hacked items stop drop rates. the message i have recieved about that is only on XBOX version (and im not even sure thats true).
Im pretty darn sure Dupes will NOT affect drop rates! As there is no file difference between legit and dupe weapons how could the game be able to change the difference in drop rate? (hacks can have differences in file tho, hence the controversy.)
I think youre either having really bad luck with drop rates, or youre playing on normal mode where you can only get body parts, addslots and photon drops as rare items

Hacked items stop rare drop rates on Xbox, PSO+ and PSO-BB only. If a PSO+ player hosts an online game, then all users are affected by the hacked item/rare drop killswitch.

Great logic. Dupes certainly do not change the drop rates in any way. Only certain hacked items do so on the aformentioned formats.

There are some rares to be found on normal, but their rates are so stupidly hard that addslots/photon drops are the only ones you are likely to find.
I agree with Anti Hacker here, that you are just having bad luck, or playing in areas with ebil drop rates.
