I had a Guilty Light at the time and I found it very effective. Just try to hit his other parts, his head is a lot tougher now.

To say the least, his head is harder, his tentacles leave less and less time between attacks for you to recover and move, you really have to stay on your toes in order to hold the upper hand on Dal Ra Lie in Ultimate. In addition to all that his beam attacks without pause now so you have little to no chance of dodging it. On the good side of thing if you have been hit and do survive his other attacks dont target you so you have a moment of repreave. All in all he is way more annoying and just plain out strong, I beat him at like lvl 92 or so but I didn't try to pass the buck with him cuz I really dont like fighting him. It gets old really quick and the quicker he dies the happier I am, I usually only do cave runs up to him, I only fight him when i have to.... cuz he sux and I hate him lol
