Iron Maiden is freaking awesome. If you guys also want to hear some really good Swedish Death Metal, you should listen to Tiamat.
of course i prefer rock, i dont like the rap...

Rock 100%...rap is annoyingly untolerable. But I'm not so much into popular rock that you hear on the radio or MTV. I prefer finding the more undiscovered groups because the popular ones all start sounding the exact same and go soft after a while so that they can stay popular and make money.
A couple of my favorites are Spineshank, Reveille, Apartment 26, Fear Factory and Ultraspank. If anyone else listens to these bands and likes them, then please give me some suggestions for some bands that are simular because it's been pretty hard for me to find new bands lately.

If you like metal, listen to shadows fall or the haunted.
Tiamat is cool haven't heard that name come up in a while though.
