So, like, seeing as this is for all other gaming posts, who is into Retro gaming?

I love that stuff! I have a hefty collection of old machines in my house and games to boot!

The gem of my collection are my semi-complete collection of Treasure games and Kirbys Dreamland Adventure on the NES.

Emulators are not retro :p
Remember ToeJam and Earl on the mega drive? What a game Big Grin I actually bought a copy for £3 the other day off the market just so i could go back and relive some childhood memories and finally complete the damn thing!
Is it me or are Game starting to accept Mega Drive games for trade-in?

Back on topic, yes I like retro gaming, but mainly for the PC. The earliest console I had was a Mega Drive so it's not that old.
Anyone remember Rogue for the PC? Or AD&D games, Pools of Radiance, Curze of the Azure Bonds... god I'm such a geek Rolleyes
Sam and Max hit the Road!
X-Wing!

PC games to make me weep with joy!
First console i had was my NES, oh those were the days....
Then you couldnt pull me away from my SNES, didnt pay much attention to my Mega Drive though
The best games ever made were and will only ever be the Streets of Rage series on the SEGA Megadrive. Theyll never release a bloody good series of games like that again!
MY first sytem was a SEGA Genesis (wondering if thaat is the North Amercan version of the SEGA Megadrive.)And I wish it still worked some of those games are classics and i want to play them again Mainly the sonic ones 4 sum reason.
If u liked the sonic games, get the hole bundle in Sonic Mega Collection for the Nintendo Gamecube! I havent got round 2 playin that compliation yet, but i wanna! The SEGA Megadrive games were the best, the sonic ones im on bout, i dont like the new 3D ones!
now that i know about that i think i'll lok for that! Thanks ahh i the memorys come back. I agree that the classics are best the new ones levels are to linear for the technolgy availble to day.
I might give that a try and go rent it out. Its been in there for a while now, hope its still there (cause they usually sell them after a while).
