U in Ontario as well? :S Have u ever heard of NorthBay Powassan, or Nipissing? The peopel in the city just call the area that I live in the Sticks beacuse we are far out in the busch.

I've heard of Nipissing before, and NorthBay....but haven't heard of Powassan. I still don't understand the reason to call the place "The Sticks". I'll admit I'm not really far into the bush, but thats no reason to call where you live 'The Sticks'. Not to be rude, but thats just a dumb name. Of course I'm not insulting you or the people that live in your community.

It is called the sticks because the closest house to me other then across the road is about 1KM up the road and in between that there is nothing but bush. I can go hunting in back yard. The snowmobile trail also runs right through our back yard. I am almost an hour outside North Bay and they think that that is a long drive. DARMATTER get on here when u can and see if u can explain it any better. Does help? :S
I don't know quite where that is. I live about 45 minutes from Renfrew and Pembroke.

thats pretty harsh, 1KM from the nearest house. Thats nothing like here, we have quite a few
cottages around. So we sometimes see some ppl while me and my friends are biking around. It gets busy during the summer, when all these tourists come up to swim and hike.
We own a tuirist camp on a little lake called Wolfe Lake. If u know were Restoule is I am 20min out side of that and 10 min outside of Nipissing inbetween the 2. With distance between houses its kinda nice. Its quiet most if not all the time.
I'm checking out some maps on the Nipissing area right now. but google seems to be kicking me in the nuts right now..........muahahahahaha I'll find you soon, I will.......ahahahahaha *cough* *cough* ahahahahaha.
