For Vol Opt, I suggest using Mechguns, if you can. Also, regardless of whether you have Mechguns or not, hit the center tower, which, if he shocks you, should give you the time to recover. Also, just bring antiparalysis.
Antiparalysis? Nothing in Vol Opt can paralyse you... just shock you, right?

2 things can help you:
-Sol Atomizers cure Shock.
-You can use dimates to heal you when shocked.

FO's are necessarily better just different. FO's are excellent, but it takes someone skilled to master them meleeing, overall I feel they are more rewarding to play with it doesn't mean they're better.

Melee, my force doesnt melee, my force uses a handgun, melee is for hunters. Although I almost never run out of TP so I don't have to use it, its just a finisher when I need it.
As for dimates & Sol Atomisers, I had dimates but ran out. Sol Atomisers should be useful, but I don't know if they will last either. But if they do cure the shock then I can cast Resta.
before you enter the boss, put down a Telepipe so if you die just go right back in. it wont take too long for you to beat him ^^

true, I already do that, but if i run out of meetsa to spend on fluids & mates then I could be in trouble.
