What Krato writes I've also seen before: on mobile phones text messages when people want to make them as short as possible as not to go over the character limit. Horribly slow too, is typing on mobile phones.

Then I back you up on your request, at least to try to raise people's awareness of the more "correct" use of language. It can't be bad for them.

Too bad there's really nothing you can do about people who are just too lazy to correct their own spelling mistakes. 've you read Eats, shoots and and leaves by Lynne Truss? She gets so bothered about it, I almost feel sorry for her. Almost, but not quite. :laugh: .
