The explosion was actually an another, very similar planet called Ragol. The Ragol you explore is on the other side of the universe, the game just doesn't explain that part.

Based on their skills I'd say 1/100,000,000. But like us all, who could resist touching a creepy pillar in such a pretty outdoor room. Curiousity killed the cat, and mutated rico and flowen. Yay!
