Actually, many lobby FSODers do use sonic disguises to make them seem more freindly. Most people take no notice of their names because theyre just happy little critters who would never harm anyone 
we know better.
Also, many think ONLY ST members can play as sonic and co. so that character is often not suspected at all, in fact, the opposite!
