right my classmate (not friends, located in england) bring up the topic about americans it always ends up as lazy americans, fat americans,or if america got blowen up it will be better for the world.???? why do they say such crap about them i mean they aren't bad guys. i have plenty of american friends and their great. They might not agree with the leader but why take it out on the people. my classmates so stereotypical and self centred. is it the people around me or at my school or what? post your veiws here

I don't know anyone in my school who doesn't dislike americans.
I guess its something that we inheirit from our parent who inheirit it from their parents...etc
Another thing i think that makes people dislike americans is because all of their movies show the americans as saving everyone else in the 2 world wars, which is completely false.
How is it false?
America DID infact join the world wars, and along with the allies (who I am not saying were insignifigant) defeated the Germans.
In a way, America CONTRIBUTED to the saving of the world.
Actually, I live in America, hate George Bush, hate the War in Iraq, and generaly hate our government right now. But I am still proud to be American, just not proud that our country can't elect a leader with a higher IQ than a rock.
That makes me sad (don't hate me because of my country...*cry*). But as for UK people, I've got to say that your the friendliest lot of people I've come to speak with. The people on these boards and ones I meet in other games are always so helpful and friendly. You guys rock!
I think your classmates just need to interact with more Americans via the net or games. So that they can judge the population individually, not as a whole.

yeah i think that if they actually lived and had a good look at the world then they would wake up and see that you shouldn't ' judge a book by it's cover'. and people are all diffrent. you get fat english people but no one else says anything.
Some people are just not very open minded.
Everyones a person. Location dosent matter.
