in theory, to stop duping all sega have to do is when people go online check for the lady's data and send a data charge or 'virus' to them if they have. the virus could destroy the lady, make it so u can only talk to one at a time(the shop or the lady) or put a barrier in to stop her walking so close.

part of dupeing is geting the lady and the merchint to talk to u at once (thats y when u c peopol dupe thay walk back and 4th)

LOL on xbox they have sega officials hid inside the NPC's like that lady and if u start to dup theyll pick it up and say sumthin like "PLAYER: Ziphor has just been banned from pso due to use of duping methods" LOL isnt that halarious!!
