am i the only one who's paranoid about item drops? every time i play pso i have to check every single box to see what it is, even in normal.
i think that just out of my sight range, some enemy dropped a heaven's punisher, or a SJS or a psycho's wand, so i always check the whole room (no matter what the difficulty or enemy or ID).
i think that all the boxes have addslots and -color- barriers inside.
every green box is a trigrinder, lv 30 tech, or luck material,
all the blue ones are 4 slot ultimate frames,
all the orange ones are ???vulcans with 100 hit, just waiting to be tekked to be charge vulcans.
all the yellows are 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 meseta
i have to check every room for that rare enemy that's going to appear (even in ruins and mines!)
i'm just wondering if anyone else feels this way when they see an item and don't check what it is, do you think that that's the item you've been looking for, but yet to skipped over it? because i always do and it drives me nuts!!!

It depends on the area/difficulty. As I spend most time in whitill forest hunting milla, the only drop I ever check is the Tollaw's or maybe the odd Hildetorr's :wacko:
i always check to see if the bigger enemies drop stuff, although they never do, or the ones where i know i can get something good out of
I should be the paranoid one, I have no idea if the fool charts are akin to the PC/DC drops. I started a Viridia Ranger to find a Inferno Bakoozka from a Al Rappy (87.5), then 8 levels later I find out that was only for GC/XB. Now I have to kill a hell lot of Baranz for it.
lol.....I'm only paranoid on very hard and ultimate difficulty levels. I must check absolutely everything before i leave.......actually my bro happened to find a very nice handgun (forget type) with a 90% on dark monsters.

im the same way i awallys check no matter what and i usally pick up all the items any way just to sell them
Me too, i always think its gonna be somethin gud, but it never is because its me
Im as paranoid as the rest of you, but how often do you find ???Vulcans with 100% hit in normal, or v.hard for that matter. The only reason i check all of the boxes is because it takes a hell of a lot of money to supply my forces. The one time i forgot to check the boxes in v.hard, my friend just happened to break one open and find a red barrier. That lil' bastard.
you never find vulcans that are that good, never, that's why checking is paranoid. i also am constantly searching for a red barrier to make a foie merge. recently i found two ???rayguns in a corner of a room that i wasn't going to check, but i forced my self to, and that was a good idea. one was a geist raygun with 45 hit, the other a demon's with 50 hit. (that was in ultimate ruins)
Whiteninja, for the character that you were using that found the to rayguns, what is the ID, and i have a couple of red barriers now ((i think two or three)), but i was playing maybe 10 minutes ago, and I just found Lavis Cannon with my skyly in ultimate caves, and when i checked a box, i just found a red amplifier in a seabed box so it does help to check. ((the box was in seabed in ult))
