HUcasts should never ever use handguns. Trust me. BAM miss, BAM miss etc. Try a birdysh (Sorry bout spelling) or a T-J sword.
I just use swords with my HUcast with a mag that has decent Dex. and a God/Arm and he takes out the whole crowd.

Mechs on Hunters can serve a purpose, depending on the mech... my HUcast has a Gush Vulcan with 25 hit which is actually rather helpful, at least when there's not a FO around. Currently he can't use them thanks to the card wipe and the fact that he's level 21 now, but meh.
Ding Dong: As I tell everyone... everyone needs a handgun. Rangers could substitute a rifle and Forces could substitute a card, but everyone needs a single-shot long-range weapon, for taking out traps and hitting bosses like Falz and Flow (although for FOs, the latter isn't really a great idea since techs work as well). Just find yourself a Red Handgun and you're set. *shrug*
my hucast at lv90 uses h&s 25 justice+9,asuka+30 and demo comet+25
he also uses god hand+30( garr has (1005) atp so power is not a problem
)
My HUcast also has a Gush Raygun, which is helpful for regaining HP.
