Is there any way for me to give my other characters item from each other 
I don't have the GC version (yet), but it would make sense if you have two different cards to play. But wait more someone who has intellect (on this subject).
Make the 2nd char, start an offline multiplayer game, drop the items from one char, and give it to the other.
If i get you correctly you mean give a item you got to another char? If it is all you do it play OFFLINE multi player with yourself and then drop an item and go to the other char that is the second player and drop it... :-D
you'll need 2 controllers to start the multiplayer game, just so you know.
Yup, 2 or more controllers are needed, though I think there is a way if you hook a GBA up to socket 2, you can trick the GC into thinking 2 controllers are present, and just switch the controller for the options you need to make, (this is only a guess though).

I did this, you won't believe the rate at which my controllers tangled!
p.s. love the avatar! Quistis is cool, but I think she looked more kawaii with her glasses on!
Or you could use a Wavebird, or even use the pads in alternate directions, so they wouldn't tangle.
