I still believe that its just a rumour, unless someone can show me a site with stuff on about it.
Due to the fact that there have been no more advances in graphics i think it may still be awhile before we see a new console to rival Gamecube or XBox.
Of course id love to be wrong about this. I like the idea of a ps3

I really believe that the PS2 is going down hill. There are a few good titles coming out this year, namely Kingdom Hearts II, but I think Sony should just do an all out focus on the PSP. PS2 is dying; PSP can already surpass it's predecessor, why produce games on a dying system?
I play a few games on my PS2, but I used it mainly as a DVD player. I hope that if a PS3 comes out it's something I can put on the PS2 so that I don't have to get rid of the system I feel I didn't put to full use.
I really can't stand my PS2. The only reason I use it is for FF, and possibly my Linux Kit (If I order it). Is it just me, or is the PS2 horrible at Anti Aliasing. Does it even use AA?
But, I probably will buy a PS3, because of FF. Like someone else said, I too use my PS2 mainly as a DVD player.
It is going downhill. It has a lot of the thing I can't stand, movie-based games.
They make me so mad!!!!!! Are they that lazy that they have to borrow a story from a movie? The awful Matrix games come to mind.

You put that perfectly. I use a PS2 but I'm a nintendo fan, really. If I had both a PS2 and a GC with me I'd play the GC more. And I just happen to have both a GC and a PS2 right now and I haven't touched my PS2 the whole time.
I dont think I will be getting PS3...Its ages to wait anyway
