I've been playing POS ep. 1&2 plus on the Gamecube for quite some time now. Now don't get me wrong, tis a very awsome game. Though its been missing some things for me.
I have a freind who plays nothing but forces. He likes 'em, I on the other think they'er missing a few 'spells'. They have shifta, depand & thier counterparts. Now why not a set for EVP and/or ATA. Three 'base' elements is a really nice idea, I like...really. Grants and Midgid are cool, but what about a couple of spells that aren't really an 'element'. Maybe a couple that mimic the two photon blasts of the Nano Dragons.
Nothing is really vunerable to them, nor are they tough agianst them. Them beam has good range for its massive power, and the missiles might hurt 'all' that much but they are semi-homming at the very least.
Just some bantering ideas from a 'yankee' desert dweller *shrug* tis just my opion, I could be wrong.
Me and my friend think of this all the time, we thought of:
A poison spell (at higher levels it would have better accuracy and last longer)
A paralysis spell (same)
An enemy control spell (the higher the level, the better enemies you can control. E.g. lv1 would control a Rappy, Lily, Canadine or Claw, and have bad accuracy. Also, when that enemy is under your control, it would be like it's confused, but it wouldn't attack you at all.)
That's it for now, I'm lazy...

How about spells that send enemies to sleep temporarily?
Even better a spell that for some reason distracts enemies away from you for a moment, perfect for when you're alone and being chased by a mob, like a food summoner or something, HAHA now that'd be class!
I am all for any more that explode or disindigrate the enemies. Also mabye one that raises accuarcy for a time.
I'd most like to see a reflect spell because then those damn Ob Lilies would get a taste of their own medicine. *Devilish cackle* Oh yes...the sweet revenge would be ours...
a spell that allows you to see traps. the higher the level, the farther you can see them.
a spell that makes the room dark for 5 seconds. i dont know the use for it but it sounds cool.
I'd say definitely Poison, Paralysis and Confuse techniques. Slow, too. An ATA boost would be nice... and an MST boost! Hah! Using MST to boost MST... then when you have all four "up" support techs cast, you get something with red, blue, yellow and green... or something. *Imagines four such support techs, synchronized* *drools*
And yes, a standard attack-type technique would be useful. It's all well and good to use elemental techniques, but sometimes we have to make the decision between having a very limited amount of techniques on our shortcut keys (and thus, possibly eliminating the ability to use one element quickly), or sacrificing some melee options. If you had a tech that could work well on all enemies, that would be great.

I think Shifta is all well and good, but what about the poor overworked Force who has to use it? What about a spell for boosting techs?
how about a time spell wich warps a monster further in time depending on the level of the spell or a "undo" spell for you
or mabe a metor spell.... it would move very slow but when it hit....
