I had a lv. 20 Falconknight and they do suck, it's much easier to train Nino then it is the Pegasus knights. The only one worth having is the third one. And even then I can use a Swordmaster like Karl or Guy to take out any magic users in one blow.
I was just trainig mine in the arena ans she was destroying everything in site

do you max levl before you up grade your units cause if not they will be alot weaker
oh and assasins rule i got jaffar to ohko the dragon .
I usually have quite a few characters at lv. 20 before I give them their honorific badges, but no, I never got one to lv.20 before I class changed her. I'm not saying they're totally bad, but they certainly aren't easy to train. I was just stating there are better choices.

well then theres your problem if you upgrade them at 20 they start getting much better stat boosts and can wipe out mage like nothing espesailly those that use bollting etc also they own sword users if used corecttly
exactly sd28 none of the charecters are gonna be amazing unless you trasin to 20 first in my opnion.
I did exactly that with the Lyn, Hector and Eliwood. The first time I played the game in Eliwood's story I made the mistake of using Marcus, bad move I know, but I didn't at the time. I then restarted the game and had Exp. abounds.
Yes using Marcos off the bat is a mistake, most people make it though, I did. The secod I can upgrade is the second I upgrade. All of my characters are upgraded by at least the 25th chapter. All the ones that you can get the items for that is.
