You could do that but you can olny use the char. in multi play and if you play try to play on the other memery card without transfering back youll lose every item in the bank equiped evreything.

Sweet, and you can just deposit items to transfer back. Wiat will the character have to be on multiplayer if its on another memory card or can it be on the different one for single player whenever you want.

Only multi. It's a stupid rule. It's easy to see why you can't just copy characters... but move them? Why not, I say? :ermm:

with one player on a main save spot on a memory card, you can make infinite copies of it on temp save spots on other cards. these copies will not get items, only techs, levels, and base stats from the original character.

reason #4 why i play on the xbox now: you can trasnfer your entire pso game file to another memory card or xbox

I'm with A.S. on this one. Me and him are friends that live localy and play PSO 1&2 quite often toghther and were trying to find a way to move my PSO 1&2 file from my third party memory card to a first party. Cause we have heard many horrible things about third partys like how they coruppt for no reason. So I wanna move my data to a first. So heres my plan... Will it work?
1) Go multi wil my friend.
2) Give him my items.
3) Save and turn off the game.
4) On my third party level 29 char., cancel the transfer.
5) Go on my friends card that has my chars. temp and transfer it back to slot B only have the first party card in it.
6) The temp data is now retured to slot B only the char. is new to it.
Will this work? Any other ideas? Thanks. Bt the way, its for gamecube...

you have memory cards labeled A, B, C, D, E,...... A has your original data on it.
put B in slot 1, A in slot 2.
transfer file from A to B.
put A in slot 1
on A, cancel the transferred status of the file (ignore the warning)
put B in slot 1, A in slot 2.
transfer the file from A to B, you have two copies of the same char on B's temp files, the newer one has no items, the older one has them
drop the items from the older temp copy, to the newer one you just put there.
transfer the copy you just gave the items, back to A.
repeat using A and C, then A and D, then A and E, .....
there's no practical use for it though, because you can only use the temp copies in multiplayer.
