I guess there really isn't a reason,it's all the crack that ST smokes.

There's some truth to that "ST smokes crack" theory... I mean, you have to wonder about a group of people who like to scare the crap out of you with huge gray behemoths carrying rares, and then disturbing pink chickens...

As for scythes, they're just another type of partisan. If you happen to have a RAmarl or RAcaseal (I think they work too), hunt a Madam's Umbrella - it has the same special as a Soul Eater, is more powerful, and doesn't drain HP (instead it restores TP).

Well, I agre with the argument on why Rangers cant use rare scythes. I'd love to see a Ranger using a Brionac, as it would be one of the only dman rare weapons my RAmar is using that he found himself!

That's really odd that they can use regular partisans but not rare ones. I guess ST just did that to switch it up a little, but it makes little sense. It would have been better if they could use all of a particular type of weapon, no?

Yes. Gungirs if I recall, are quite powerful. A Hell Gungir would be pretty good, indeed. But even so, there's always that feeling of 'why can I not use my Soul Banish!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!'. lmao.
