Look, its not your fault. Nobody knew what was going to happen, and that means nobody is to blame.
you didn't do it, it was the driver that hit him. there's no need to blame yourself, especially since there was a 50:50 chance that you would have had to have gone out and gotten hit instead. i'm sorry that it happened, but there was nothing you could do and it's not your fault.
Blame the driver, its his fault! Dont let a coffin rest on your conscience, especially if its not your fault!

Oh jesus Jay that sucks but Shadamoo is right, it is not your fault. The drive should have been more careful, and damn well should be charged a heafty amout.
<.< well not to make Jay feel bad, but there was always a chance he could have gone and he would not have gotten hit, that's the Butterfly Effect at work for ya'. But there's nothing you can do now, the past is the past. Get off the computer, (like now) and go to room and cry like a bitch for several days, that usually makes things a little better. I did it when my cat died.
