it may spoil it, or it may not thats one of the reasons why i use photoshop to colour in my stuff, the original doesnt get spoilt, mirinee, if you have photoshop i suggest colour them using that.

Anyway, how do we know it was Mirinee that did them?

Possessed? Well, not by Poo Fly, because he uses Photoshop, is excellent at colouring, draws amazing HUnewearls but doesn't draw FOmars. Only I, Judgment and Sheik draw FOmars.

Using Photoshop to colour a hand-drawn picture? Wouldn't you have to go over all the lines you'd already drawn? Drawing with a mouse is difficult.

As for the reference pictures, it wasn't too much of a problem since my screensaver, desktop wallpaper and room are all populated by pictures of PSO characters. :S.

I checked some references pictures just now and noticed that there were bits drawn wrongly after all, apart from anatomy problems. I can often tell what's wrong with a picture, but I can't correct it, because I'll only know it's right when I see it, but I can't visualise it!

Oh well. They got rained on and I ended up throwing them away. So... the end of this thread, I guess.

all of my pictures are hand drawn and you dont need to draw over it with the mouse, as long as you clean up your work before and after scanning it in.

and now that i've started work on Phantasy workshop's pso comic, i will be drawing more of all the different classes, not just HUnewearls.

and its a shame your pics got rained on, they were really good.

Yeah they would have been awsome with colour. I have to go over the lines in adobe photoshop. I mess up a lot when drawing so i cant get it clean enough to just scan :'(

Those sketches are so good ;_; coloring them might look okay, if copied onto another piece of paper, and coloring that version, be it by hand or with a computer art program. I do that sometimes. Either way those are great sketches!

What do you mean bad artwork?? I can tell you my hand drawn art is MUCH worse. :$

Of course you all think it's better than yours because you guys suck........<.< sorry if that sounded offensive, it wasn't meant to. To DZ and I that would be a bit better than average. We all have different styles. I for one couldn't color a drawing to save my life. I tried with my gorgeous FOmarl holding the Soul Eater and I destroyed it :'( . My HUney's hair I colored purple ruined :'( and those were some of my better one's. But give me a decent set of drawing pencils, and a good eraser and I'll make some good stuff. I actually prefer the scribbly, sketchy style. It's how I draw, and makes the drawing look more real as long as you leave some of the sketchy lines when you clean it up.
