Hey..I just Killed the forest boss(Its a Dragon I don't remember the name) on hard mode and I just got a red box labeled "Special weapon?" What's that ??
EDIT: I just identified it and its a Mushashi!!! Is this a great weapon?

I think this will become my best weapon for awhile... I am so happy To have found my first "good" weapon...yay!
EDIT: I just found 2 Varista pistols by killing a barbarous wolf!! But I can't equip them..

varistas are one of the 9-star hanguns, not great, but decent for hard and vh modes. mushashi is a good weapon for any hunter until you can get a yamato or asuka (better versions of the mushashi)
Varistas are reliable enough until you find something better, like a Supressed Gun or Red Handgun. The Musashi is a nice weapon for hunters, only it's better for non-droid hunters because, usually, androids can't afford to use its berserk special. Later on you should get yourself a Yamato (blue version of Musashi, more powerful, with freeze special), preferrably with hit%.
This is about the point where your section ID comes into question - what is it?

Yes, Viridia is more of a ranger's ID. What I would do, now, is make a ranger with a hunter-ish ID... Oran, Bluefull, Redria, or especially Skyly (or maybe Yellowboze or Whitill). That way, you can give the shotguns your HUcast finds to your ranger, and the blade-types your ranger finds to yout HUcast. That's what I have, sorta; by sheer dumb luck my RAmar was a Redria and my HUmar was a Purplenum. So I tend to have them hunting items for each other instead of themselves.
I wish when i made my first char( FAbo III) i would have known that Oran is a hunter ID. now in Ultimate all she finds are Cross Scars
