I prefer the female ones, in all honestly. They appear more refined, and definately look cooler than the male ones.
Although a HUmar's sword animation is cool, as is the claw's.
HUnewearls claw animation is better than the HUmars. But the cartwheel HUmar does is admittedly cool.

I know. I totally started playing PSO with my new character yesterday... BAM! 9 hours of my life gone.

i love pso, istarted playing at 6, then at about 9 suddenly realised id just spent 3 h on it without getting into cave 2 on ultimate!!!!
Female tech-casting and photon blasting animations = pwnz all. Unless you happen to have a female character with long hair and you do certain photon blasts (like unarmed)... then it gets disturbing... :S
For attack animations... I'll have to say females as well, except for certain animations like sabers. I haven't ever tried a FOmarl... but I love the RAmarl's handgun animation as much as the next player.
Now, if only I could find a decent excuse to have mine USE a handgun full time... her #1 firing weapon is a Frozen Shooter... :ermm:

personally i prefer most of the male combos as i've already said but female double saber combos are better than male also claw and katana combos thats about it though

Do the Katanas use the same animation as the Sabers? I've seen that they're different on Episode III, and I was wondering if they're different on Episode I and II?
Females definately have superior saber animations.
