The fighter classes aren't really that good. I'd go for the capital ships. You can't destory a capital ship with just a fighter, even a mod Thunderhead.

I have a leviathan now...
and it has mainy 200mm Railguns, Fusion Pulse Turets, Ion Cannons and a few Medium Blasters to round it out allond with the Auroran Armour...

They is trade and 6 storylines. There is a certain depth to the game (govts and different sides) and lots of fighting/technology if you want it . The trade is just there to get you money for the big weapons
