Mine was either a Grass Assassin's Arms or a Diska of Liberator, can't remember which (that's if you don't count the PD and several AddSlots I picked up in Normal). The first rare I could equip was a Varista, and I still have it - it has a 16 grind and no percents.
The first RED weapon I found was a Red Handgun - came across a Pal Rappy without even meaning to.
I belive mine was as well as DB Saber, damn was I happy. Now I can't sell them fast enough to keep my inventory low, way to many.
First 3: Varista, Wals mk II, Blade dance. Thats as far as my memory stretches, as for my first actual red weapon, it was red saber. But i dont think thats what you meant...

my first rare was an ovious photon drop, then an Add slot, i didn't get any weapons till i got Online and found some Adaman and Laconiums
