Im going to buy a router today, as i have a USB ADSL modem, i got my Broadband Adapter from Japan, now all i must do is hook it up to the net!

So i worked out i need a router with 1 IN and 2 OUT.. the question is, how do i configure it all? Do i need to start my pc, log onto the internet to make the "Stream" Active. Do i have to put special options into the PSO Setup? Will i need to change my PC config for it?


and most of all, How do i do it

You'll need a router with a USB port, unless your ADSL modem also has an ethernet port you can use. The rest is easy, just plug everything in and install it as a standard network with your gamecube and pc set to ip auto assign / DHCP. If your running XP you might also see an internet connection gateway icon in your network properties, this just tells you that its found a connection to the net and that its working

And make sure the hub/router is 10/100. We had a 100 only hub and it buggered everything up royally until we switched. You think it would say somehwere that the GC BBA is 10 mbit only, BUT IT DOESN'T.
