in the bathroom i use in the basement (because its near my GC) there are alot of crickets, and when i see one of those they scare the bejeebees out of me. but nothing like THAT has ever happened.
once, there was one in the trashcan, and i poured about 2 inches of water in there to drown it, and when i emptied the trash over a week later, it was still alive. those things are so hard to kill. i also stomped the head of another and the body still jumped around for a while after.

To be honest, if it was me, i wouldnt be sleeping in the same house, let alone the same bedroom that a tarantula's being kept in! (Even if it was in a 'cage').
I dont really know how Ria wouldnt have noticed the spider before the belly button either in those circumstances, hehehe
Because im a very heavy sleeper when i lie down nothing will wake me up before im ready so i didnt feel it lying on my forehead and the only reason i stayed over there is because he told me there was no way in hell the thing could get out the cage.

I heard (rumour, folk tale whatever) that we eat on average of about 5 spiders a year. They like our mouths because our mouths are warm/moist. But we don't notice it because we are asleep. I don't think they mean big spiders, just small ones. I guess it could be true but personally don't believe it.
