the hunter has a definite advantage over the ranger because both have to do hand to hand combat and the hunter's stats are better for that. if each chararcter got a cane, handgun, and saber, then the RA would beat the HU. but the FO will win no matter what because with no barriers or frames, the RA and HU have no resistance. so one foie and you're toast (a good megid would do it too)
