Without techs any Droid will get their asses pwned in Ultimate, if they melee. And with HUcast you kinda' have to. My brother managed to make his HUcaseal a fairly good ranged fighter. But then he's stupid also.
It is basically this:
Normal mode: Hunters are great, Rangers are great, Forces are okay.
Hard mode: Hunters are great, Rangers are great, Forces are good.
Very Hard mode: Hunters are great, Rangers are great, Forces are great.
Ultimate mode: Hunters are terrible, Rangers are okay, Forces are superb.

trum, they cant specialise in force, but they can use most of them, whats to stop a ranger casting zonde through a wall? (a RAmar at least

Yeah, Forces kick major arse compared to HU's and RA's, but I like using HUnewearls because their kinda a mix of both.
