I certainly wasn't denying that the RAmarl or HUnewearl are both awesome when I made them (although I had to re-costume my HUnewearl at one point; you have any idea how hard it is to make them NOT look like hookers? XD).
There were several phantasy star games before PSO. These could almost count, but trying to find a link between those past games and PSO can be tricky...
