I heard of string theory... I understood it but then I forgot it and now i can'y get it again. It's really annoying. And btw its not proven the universe has infinite space for stuff to expand into. It is finite and aparrently there is a form of nothing outside it that consists of even less than the normal form of nothing does. That's where i lost it! But apparently you cant place anything in it, and if the big bang theorey is to be believed one day gravity will pull the universe back together so it can't be infinitely expanding. So in it, there must be a finite, if very large amount of random stuff. cool .

the universe is 4d, we are 3f, infinite wd stuff can go into 4d, so the universe for us is infinite, however it is finite in 4d.

I think what jarl is trying to say is that the universe seems infinite to us, yet it is not?

BTW the universe is infinate but sooner or later it will be completly destroyed by black holes since these are permenant and never die.
