Different colours and sizes of mem cards, even in the third party usually mark a different amount of space available, or blocks.
Yet the 3 size of memory cards are the same actual size (as in cm x cm), but one of them has 1000 blocks of space while one only has 50.
However, there are many more sizes on the different third party mem cards which i cannot list all of for i do not know them. we need not worry about this, cos third party cards SUCK! (dont buy one).
so was i right
You know, it is a common mistake for people to think that large companies like nintendo are ripping you off and that other cheaper items would be better to buy. All I will say is, i have had 3 3rd party controllers break to one official, and I have had 6 corruptions on 3rd prty cards compared to one on an official card. They charge extra for a reason, quality comes at a price... however this is not always the case (*looks at hunter's liscence pricing and in ST's general direction*).
I never buy third party stuff, even if its licensed. I have friends who have spent a crapload of money on them, and it broke after 2 days.
well it depends what 3rd party u get-i ahve the chunky joytech contoller and ive had it since august and its still going pretty gd, and my friend had a load of 3rd party ones and the joytech lasted the longest of all of them, the wavebird (official nintendo!!) was the first to break. ive never had any corruptions, but i really dont like 3rd party mem cards even though u can get like 2000 block ones. most 3rd party sucks, but some can be pretty gd.
all my third party stuff is fine apart from the near fatal corruption i ave a controller and two memory cards but sonic saturn had an official mem card that went corrupt that luckily 4 him did not have pso on but it had other good gms like ssb melee
im pretty sure that was 3rd party...
Would you buy a 3rd party GameCube? No. So why would you buy a 3rd party memory card/controller? You wouldn't. That's how I see it.
