No, Hyper Sonic does exist. You have to get all the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 3 & Knuckles (that is, the Sonic 3 cartridge plugged into Sonic & Knuckles), and then you have to get all the Super Emeralds as well. There isn't that much difference, he glows rainbow colours, there's an after-image when you run at speed, and he gains some flash bomb attack. And he has stars flying round him.

Anyways, back on topic, the person above me presumably likes the colour red.
