Secret gear has a lot more def points then most barriers. It depends on what you want. If you want to be hidden plus have high def, use secret gear.

"If you want to be hidden"? Uhhh, you do know that the description is just made up, you aren't actually invisible to enemies or anything.... right?

Heh. No, your not invisible. Just stronger than you were before the thing was equipted. Maybe your HP goes up or something.

No you just get a major DFP and EVP boost, and the resistances are 30/20/30/0/0, no HP boost or anything else like that.

What does brightness circle do besides look cool? I'm hunting one so I need to know.

Actualy, whenever I have it equiped, the enemies will sometimes walk in circles for a short period of time. I never said it makes you invisible.
